I keep it in the bag for over 6 hours . Power feed it in the bag.

Mysis and cycropez... It does not seem to interested in eating.

Will the skin start to grow back or will I lose those heads.

    Yeah the clam is great.

The Sun Coral is what I am really worried about. There appears to be more skeletal then there is skin.

I am wondering if anybody else has experienced this before.

    Will it make it.

    I have a sun coral.

They are creatures of habit. Mine is used to eating at around 7pm every second day. If I skip 3 days, it will not open for a few days.

Why are you trying to feed it in the bag? It may need to adapt. Put it in your tank, and feed it every day at the same time for a week or two.

I had just recieved it from IJO in a shipment and was worried about all the skin lose. So I tried to power feed it prior adding it to the tank.

It has since been added to the tank and will wait to see if it will open to be feed.

Is there tissue between all your polyps or do you see a grey colour between the polyp heads

When my sun coral is not eating, all the polyps are invisible. It becomes one ugly skeleton with no tissue at all. When it smells something, some polyps come out, so a mixture of bone and polyp heads are visible. This seems to be your case. When it has been taught to feed at the same time, or/when it is ready to eat, it becomes one big gorgeous ball of yellow color, with no bone to be seen.

Thanks for the Response Peluche. I hope your right. I have been really looking forward to keeping this coral.

    1) Just to clearify so the heads that are grey will open and forum a nice orange colour

    2) There should not be that nice orange colour joining all the heads on the base of the coral

Your sun coral doesn't look to be in bad condition at all (although the pic isn't real great). The heads are partially extended and this is actually a really good sign. Place it on the sand bed, and cut the top of a large plastic soda bottle. Place the top over the coral each day and inject your food mix into the container (the soda bottle top keeps other animals from climbing all over the coral to scavenge the food). Leave it on the coral for about 1 hour. If the coral doesn't open up completely, remove it and let your shrimp et all clean up the food. Keep doing this every day, and eventually the coral will open up and eat (mine was in truely rough shape when I got it and it took a month of following the above instructions).
