    New addition...

I added this guy to my tank last thursday evening (Almost a week ago!). He quickly dove into the liverock and I had not seen him until lastnight!
I was starting to think he didn't make it, but low and behold, I saw him peek his head out....

Say hello to Stripe, my Blackray (Highfin) Shrimp goby.

(This is not an actual picture, he's still too shy)

Very nice fish....if you have a fine sand bed in the tank, watch him dive in, only to come up a few inches away.

The only thing two reef keepers will agree on, is what the third reef keeper is doing wrong!

Have you got a pistol shrimp to go with him?

    How are the corals doing?

COuldn't find a pistol shrimp here locally yet. I guess I'll get one sooner or later to have them pair up.

AS for the corals, they're doing great! Thanks for asking!
The tank is starting to stabilize I think, with all the help you've all given me, I should have it looking great soon!

    TangMan,
Pairing up is always a cointoss and to ideally have a pair they should be bought in an already formed partnership. It is a rarer thing for them to begin a partnership in an aquarium.
On another note, wait till you the story about mine that I got. Thanks to Fishysan who was here on the weekend, I found mine in the least expected place!!! ( only to dissapear again once I put it back in the tank) Also, acclimating mine was another nightmare!!! IMO, these guys are good only in small tanks as thay will get completely lost in a bigger setup. Ah yes!! the "impulse" buy!!!

    So where'd ya find him?

And yes, mine is VERY reclusive. As you mentioned, these guys would do better in a small setup.
