    My own moon lights!

Well... I've decided to build my own!

I still have to add 2 more LED's and add more shrink wrap tubes but here is what I have up to now!

I'll finish and install them tomorow and post pics!

I pretty much folowed what this guy did: http://www.kaotica.com/frag/diy/moonlight/

But I got my LED's at Radio Shack... They are 10MA, I think 5mm LED...

I'm at work right now but when I get home I'll post all the parts I used... I'm surprised how easy and cheap it is to make!

I did the same thing. Bought all the equipment at radioshack. I also added a variable voltage power supply. It allows to run a number of different voltages with the flick of a slide switch. So basically, it works like a dimmer for the lights. Looks great though.

I wanted to install them today but I'm not totally finished... I will have it done by tomorow night FOR SURE! I want to make sure there is no problems with them before I add them to the tank!

I'll take pics once they are up and running! (tomorow night!)

    I decided to go with 4 LED's...

    I think I'll make some for my 29 gallon also!(but only 2 LED's)

    I'll keep ya posted!

How many volts do you usualy leave it at? And how many LED's did you put?
