    My Cleaner Shrimp is pregnant!!!

Should I be biling water & getting some rags? So will they survive or become food? How long till they hatch? There is hundreds of eggs attached to it. Kinda cool! Is there any way to grow them? (maybe in my fuge)

Unfortunately, rearing baby shrimp is nearly impossible without a specialized tank and equipment for this purpose.

In the end, they simply become food for the reef in our "simple" tanks...

Not to hijack the thread, but what type of setup do you need to rear cleaner & blood shrimp?

    Cheers!

I think it would be dificult but not imposible. Check out this link:

Also just do a search in Yahoo for breeding Cleaner Shrimp and you should come up with all kinds of articles!

    Good Luck!!!

Why is it called "cargo" when it goes by ship, and "shipment" when it goes by car?

The female shrimp will have a green coloring under the length of the tail (where the fast moving fins are). That is the clutch of eggs that she places there..
