White spots on glass, ID ??

I noticed the other day on my glass some white spots, and there starting to grow in numbers. I tried getting a pic but was unable to get the camera to focus directly on the spot.

Ill try and describe them best I can, they look like they have a solid center composed of multiple tiny little white dots with an outer ring which is sort of see-thru. They are about double the size of a needle head, so very tiny..

I tried sort of scratching one of with my finger and they feel like they are hard. All over my glass I count approx 20-30 now, started few days ago with like 7 or so.

Anybody know what they might be ??

    Thanks

Just another benign addition to your mini environment- if they are spreading, it means that they are happy- don't worry about them, they are a hard shell building worm and pretty common.

Ah alright perfect then, i won't worry then!! Thanks reefmutt!!

Cause I want to clean my glass but can I go over those little guys and sort of clean em off the glass ? Or will I kill em ??

Also I started noticing what I think are copepods on my glass as well, little tiny white creatures with a little tail like about the size of a pin needle head, maybe even a tad smaller...If I use my magnet to clean my glass and I go over those, will I kill tons of em and I should still have tons left of will I wipe out most of em ??

    Thanks

    AK,
Take a look at this page. Do the spots resemble any of the tiny Hydroids pictured there?

Nope none at all. I did notice though that when I look from the side straight along the glass I noticed that they were all perched on the glass on an angle.
