Well Then I use one on a return manifold to supply 4 returns:1-sump return,1-Phosban Reactor,1-Chiller,1-Refugium.I was tired of the amoout of submersible pumps I had so I decided to pick up one of these baby`s.
Let me tell you! I first put it my pond to test this November and my son pluged it in while I was still there holding it in the water(COLD) and wham it pumps like a son of a gun!Soaked me good at 4700 GPH.

the input and output are 1.5" NPT and comes with all the fittings it could be run inline or directly in the sump.

So Robin, how is it holding up after time- noise, efficiency etc.
How do you thing it handles the back pressure from being plumbed into so many things?
How much juice does it pull?

    Hi Mat,
Since its magnetic the noise is very low I have it on a big chunk of styro nevertheless. I am supplying things that didnt need a high flow or pressure so I found myself increasing the fuge return it pumps out quite a bit more than I had before with good pressure.I should have installed a PSI gauge to see the head presssure.well I could always do it...nahhh...

It pulls 280w which still equals a little less than my 5 other pumps that were being used prior. But my main reason was not to have so much heat creating pumps in my sump and extra plugs in my wall sockets.

P.S I have another project going still designing it though, I want to make a controll panel where my 2 x 15 amp lines go into and feed all my equipment with indivdual on/off switches so im shopping for parts.

You can run your whole system on two 15 amp lines? Wow, I'm on three 20 amp lines and thinking of adding another..
That will be nice and neat when it is done.. we'll need pics when thay are available!!
