I had one for 6 months max, then got rid of it and switched to Reef Rats instead much better in my opinion especially the new units.

Wavemaster is a fine unit if you want to run powerheads and they have multiple settings I liked the switch pumps off for feeding feature and the night feature, but dont run the JBJ powerheads on it they will break within weeks use the Maxi jets or another type.

I had one and it works well. I have however moved up to a Ocean Motions system because I HATE power heads in the tank.

I had one too and loved it but i got an aquacontroller and it has that function but enventually with my new i will have an ocean motion too...but they do work very well..use the maxis because no other pumps will last long with the on/off function all the time...plus they are quiet when they go on

yah i went with the MJ because they were quiet and the tank is right next to my bed so it has to be silent! lol

I don't think i could go without PH in my 50 gal cube, there wouldn't be a very feasible way to do that i think

If i remember correctly you are also aware of the little mod to do with the maxis with the wavemaker..you know to cut off the ends...plus it makes the unit smalller....

yes very much...the flow has a nice wide angle and every time the pump starts it turns in a different way....alll my maxis are like that...plus it saves space in the tank cause you dont have the long output nozzle
