Pics of Gabriel, new baby emperor angel

Ivan sent me this little guy, he arrived on Tuesday night. The shipping went really smooth, the water was still warm and he wasn't stressed at all. These are pics of him in my 20g quarantine tank.

He was really shy at first but he started eating the first day and I've been winning him over with lots of good food.

He is fairly active now and has really good colour. He's plumping up a bit now and looking pretty good.

Every new fish seems to love this ugly old ceramic skull. I guess it makes a good comfy hiding place so I just leave it there.

It's hard to believe this little fella will be a big fish some day. He's only about two inches now and just as cute as can be.

My quarantine tank is really a mini reef with a sandbed, liverock, lots of worms and pods. There's even a cup coral that does better here than in my other tanks. I don't medicate unless I see a reason to. I feel this is a lot less stressful on new fish. The tank isn't pretty and always has some algae but the fish seem to like it.

It's too bad they couldn't stay small! Then I could get one! Looks good though!

Why is it called "cargo" when it goes by ship, and "shipment" when it goes by car?

I know, he's soooooooo cute like this I almost don't want him to grow up! Then again, the adults don't look too shaby either - and they grunt, I can't wait to hear him grunt
