    Troglodite in my tank?

I found this guy in my quarantine tank a few days ago. My friends Barry and Aven have one as well. Anyone know what it is? It has a very hard shell with fleshy "stuff" on the sides.

Thanks! Barry thought it might be too. It's an odd critter, almost looks prehistoric.

This is what I had read in the past, that certain ones will feed on corals.but its very rare I guess they would have to be starving to resort to it.
But for more info I think J.Sprungs book Invertebrates has a sections on them.

Ok this is what the book mentioned:

Useful in reefs aquariums.Reef safe in most cases.
Herbivorous. feeds on Filamentous algea, cyanobacteria and diatoms. Some species reported to feed on coral tissue.

So it must be very rare because at no time do they indicate which type feeding on coral,so no need to worry.

Hmmm, well there's only one cup coral in the quarantine tank where it is. There's some algae so I guess he's feeding off that. If he was eating the coral I'd know by now. Cool critter.
