    Cans of whole baby clams

Anyone ever buy these? I fed a few to my lionfish earlier and now I'm wondering if they are cooked or raw? It doesn't say on the can anywhere. I bought them because they were just clams in water, no additives. They smell good but I wouldn't know a raw one from a cooked one. How can you tell?

I agree, I know at least the ones i've seen are cooked...don't think i've even seen em raw in a can to be honest!

I'm sure it would say if they were raw or not. There would have to be some type of warning not to eat them or instrustions on how to cook them.

Yeah I think you guys are right, they are most likely cooked. Not good for Leo. I'm glad I didn't feed him many. I still can't believe I didn't think of it before I fed them. It really doesn't say anywhere on the can but I guess if they were raw it would most likely have cooking instructions.

Yeah, I THOUGHT I was buying him a real treat. He didn't even seem to like them. He ate maybe four (these are REALLY tiny) and then swam away. That is NOT very Leolike.

I hope he can digest them all right. You think it could block him?

I'll give him some scallops tonight. They're his favourite so far.
