    Live Sand

Anyone in the Ottawa area want to volunteer a 1/2 cup - cup of live sand to help me seed my new 120?

Maybe we can even get a sand swap going? I've seen them run on RC, would be a good idea to help diversify your sandbed critters

As long as no one donates flatworms, aiptasia etc etc

    :biggrinbo

    Tag if you're interested.

    Micky,

We are moving into our new house sometime around July 15th, if you can wait that long I could save you some of my Aragonite(5 gallons worth), I'll be using Pink Reef Sand in its place.

    Hey Dark,

Sounds good, it's a ways in the future, but I can always use more sand and critters

I can give you some if you want... I'm going to be tearrng down my 29 gallon in about a week... It's been set up for about 2 years... I know there is alot of "critters" in that sand...

Not sure how much I can give you... But I can give at a few gallons worth of my Aragonite sand...

Let me know if you want some of my sand and we can make arrangement for you to get it! (in about a weeks time)

    RaceFaceR1 - Sounds great, thanks

I don't need a ton of sand, just a little bit from different tanks to keep my sand bed from turning into concrete while the critters populate all my base rock.

Shoot me a PM when you tear down your 29. Is it an upgrade? I just went from 30 to 120 and am loving the size

30 to 120... WOW... Now that is a differents :

I'm tearing down the 29 gal cause I have too many tanks to take care of...

    I'm a poor student

I have my 65 gallon REEF that I'm keeping...

I'm turning my 29 gallon SW tank into a "goldfish" tank ( I know, I know : ) So I'll sell the 10 gallon that the goldfish are in at the moment...

I gave away my 10 gallon FW (tropical fish) to my sister...

I'm slowly getting rid of all the exrta fish equipment that I have...

I just want to keep one SW tank (my 65 gal) and the goldfish tank (29 gal)...

---> I'll be PM'img you a few days before I tear down the 29 gallon so we can figure this out...

    Talk to you soon mikyfin!
