Search for Stomatella snail. You should find your answers there.

    Cool

I don't think thats a stomatella snail? I have over 50 and they don't look like that plus there nocturnal so chances of you spotting them during light hours is rare. could be a different type? maybe some kinda seaslug?

How do you know it was lights on? It could be just the flash from his camera. Plus there is a shell on the back, so I don't think its a sea slug.

Actually i used a flashlight and caught in the dark, if i just use the flash they never turn out lol

Reading Dr Ron's article i do think its a Stomatella varia because i had one identical but black as well, they seem to be taking over my tank at night so i'm glad they see harmless

I have some of theses guys too and I read that they come out in Daylight to breed! They spit their "stuff" out in the water. It kinda worried me when I seen it but it's a normal thing! (Hehehe, I actually have something normal going on in one of my tanks! LOL!)

Why is it called "cargo" when it goes by ship, and "shipment" when it goes by car?

I have some like these "furry" guys and I have some that are smother. They are white to grey to balck in color! I guess they are all STOMATELLA, maybe there not, but they don't seem to be doing any harm!
