    Food for Clowns

What does everyone feed thier clowns? Normal food, feeding schedules and other special treats would be great to know

I have my first order on the way tomorrow:
    2 clowns
    1 Cleaner shrimp
    Hermit crabs
    Astrea Snails

My Clown Fish LOVES Hikari Marine "S" pellets! I also feed a veriaty of frozen food like brine shrimp, blood worms, krill, ect. But they like the pellets the best.

Why is it called "cargo" when it goes by ship, and "shipment" when it goes by car?

Mysis, cyclope-eze, brine shrimp (as a treat, not a main dish). Another option is to go to the grocery store, buy a bag of mixed raw seafood, blend it up and feed that. There are many recipes on this site.

What about the seafood chowder mixed fish at the grocery store... ? Would clowns eat scallops?

The trick is to get uncooked seafood. A mixed bag with shrimp, clams, scallops, etc works wonders. Blend it up (some people add vitamins) with water put it in a freezer bag lying flat, then you can break off pieces as needed. It's nice to provide variety - you wouldn't want to eat the same thing all the time (or would you?)

Here's a good thread with a recipe or two:

I buy the chowder mix. I blend up some of it and then I keep a few chunks to feed the Tube Anemonies. My Clown is not fussy on the scallops but if it's blended he eats it1
