    How many fish ?????????

    Hello
    I have one clown - SHY - in my 20g. How many more fish can I have and what kind ???

    maybe two or three more small fish- I think it would be better if you chose the fish.

    what kind of clown?if its an ocsillaris one put the other sex in....you can have nice little gobies also...there is not a whole lot you can put in a 20 gallons but there is still some very nice stuff out there that would suit your needs

    A few more small fish that will not grow past 2 inches should be OK. The Goby family has many colorful choices including the Flame Goby that would be a nice addition.

    I've seen Watchman Goby and Tiger Pistol shrimp pairs in nanos (12 gal) and they are always interesting.
    Its the early bird that gets the worm, but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.

    Do I need a tight-fitting cover to prevent it from jumping out ?

    Egg Crate that just sits on the lip of the plastic trim with cut outs for any over the top equipment will do nicely.
