    Orange Sponge tree

    Just picked up a Large orange Sponge tree from LFS. I will post a pic soon as i have it in the tank. wish me luck with this one guys.

    well GOOD LUCK!! I hope it does ok- they don't have a very good track record in captivity..

    Definatly a good addition to brighten up the tank, good luck.
    Shade and Dt's or any good live phytoplankton is the key to keeping these in captivity.

    I installed a smoke section of acrylic over it. hope this keeps it a little shaded.
    TANK -35 Gallon with 15 gallon sump/fuge
    LIGHTS - T5HO 36" 165 total watts
    FLOW - Mag 7, fluval 304, 201 powerhead
    OTHER - seaclone 100 skimmer, RO/DI water

    Good idea. I put my red chilli sponge in my refugium under a cave because it wasn't looking so well. After forgeting about it for 2 months, I uncovered it and it was almost twice as big as when I got it. Just an idea if yours takes a turn for the worse
