    Montipora corals

    Marine Center

It could always be useful before purchasing a new fish or coral

I haven't used this too much yet, but so far it's been great.

    http://www.fishbase.org/

If you do a search, click the latin name for a pic, not the common name.

Personally, I find the sites like LiveAquaria and Marine center not the best. Their descriptions are too generic and you also have to remember they are in the selling business, so they tend to "color" the descriptions to make it sound better.
A very good site with tons of info is www.wetwebmedia
You can also search through the archives of "Advanced Aquarist's magazine online" and the "Reefkeeping" on RC.
    Then there's Reefs.org

A great one is the CSIRO's Coral Search http://whelk.aims.gov.au/coralsearch/coralsearch.php
