    GSP removal

Is there any way to remove this from the Glass with out sending the frags all over the tank. i kept this land locked on a piece of rock for ages but i allowed it to jump to the coraline on the glass. Not thinking about having to remove it one day

My just did the same jump on the glass thing. Does it grow faster on glass. I hope not because if it does, I am in for trouble.

A razor blade can do a pretty neat job of removal- I don't think gsp are commonly known to grow from bits that 'get away'- unless they are pretty big, in which case they'd be removable by hand.

    reefmutt,
my concern is the bigger bits getting trapped in the rockwork only to pop up later.
I may use a razor blade and a 1/2 inch hose to siphon them off the glass as i scrape.
i have a 90 gal and the whole side wall is covered

I'm just wondering why this is a problem. Is it stricktly esthetics?
My QT tank is covered with GSP & I like the look. I have about 20 lbs of LR which is almost entirely covered & 2 sides of the tank.
I do have a few smaller rocks with GSP growing on them in my 90, where I do want to keep it under control.
