    salt on mh cover lens

Can anyone help me with a solution to getting the salt/stain overspray off of my mh cover lens? I have tried vinegar with limited success. Whatever I use seems to streak and then get baked on. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. :bawling:

I use a razor blade and scrape it off, that is on the glass shield on my fixture then spray it with Safe & Easy to remove the ballance of stain off.I do not scrap the bulb.

Rob, I thought of that, but I suppose I would have to soak it over night before using it??
