    Very Low Calcium

    Hi All,

I just did my first calcium test on my tank and it read 300.

My tank contains a southdwon dsb, 2 clows, a few mushrooms and 90lbs of live rock.

    it is 3 months.

Should the low calcium be a concern ? What could be potential causes and how would this affect my tank ?

    Nick.

it is not a concern, but you should aim to raise it to 400-450.
it is not really a concern considering what you have. causes is simply the fact that it can be used up, skimmed out, or precipitate.
