I have many extra's in stock... I don't sell them but do give them away to 'good' customers who ask.

We have a place here called Micheals.. they have bags of shells at 3.49... most of the shells are not what your looking for but you should get 10-20 good ones per bag. Make sure you boil them before adding them to you tank. Any craft shop should have shells.

If you can't find them... let me know and I'll goto michaels here and purchase them for you.

Nothing like living by the ocean when you have a saltwater tank!
We have a giant hermit who has ooutgrown all but one huge moonsnail shell we picked up at the shore. Every once in awhile he leaves his old whelk shell and tries on the moon snail. It is really too big for him, but he will wear it around for a couple of days and then, with a sigh, go back to his old whelk shell. I really don't think he will ever grow into the moon snail, but he never gives up hope.

I keep about 30 blue legs and left-handed hermits. I've found that if you keep them well supplied with replacement shells (and the are fairly picky about the shape, size and types of shells), they will change alot, and leave the snails alone (ie: they won't kill them for their shells). They even seem to change just for the sake of changing. Sometimes I'll drop a few fresh shells in the tank and by the next day, you see nice bright white shells moving around the rocks.

I've had the most success finding replacement shells at dollar stores. I'll try and post some pics of the shells I've found that they seem to like the most.
