    alkalinity

    hi all,

    I had to use a hagen test kit to test my alkalinity and it reads 80mg/L (ppm)... how do i convert this to dKH ??

    I think you have to divide by 17.9
    Not sure but pretty sure !

    wow, that would give me an alkalinity of 4.6 dKH ! Is that even possible do get that low ??? anyone else able to comment ??

    yeah, its possible to get that low. you just have to raise your buffer dosage.

    Yep,

    1KH = 17.9mg/L
