    Baby Hippo

    Greetings,

Just a couple of pics of my latest tank addition.

This guy is so puny I just had to gettem. He was a bit bent outta shape when I got him, but hes out and about, and doing just fine.

BTW, I've got frags of the both corals you see in the pics, so if you're interested, lemme know.

    Cheers,

    ABahn

    I hear ya.

I'll try to get other pics of him. Hes so cute, the other day (his 2nd day in my tank) I caught him snagging a piece of Colour BIts. Too funny, this piece looked big in his mouth. He was so determined, just biting away trying to break it down.

    Ciao

Very cute! He's got a nice big tank to grow up in. The little certainly looks happy.

good luck to him. he will probably grow up in better conditions that he would have in the wild. (at least he wont have to worry about predators - unless thats your idea of fun)

Oh yeah, he's eating colour bits! Unreal. I honestly thought he'd go hiding for a couple of days, but no sir, he was out just a couple of hours following entry.

So far so good as they say!

I've got one of those little cuties, he's quadrupled in size in about 6-8 months.

Eats colorbits like a pig and now he's enormous and won't stop growing ... :

They don't call them "Hippo Tangs" for nothing, eats like one and gets big like one ...

Still, he's one of my favs ... :
