    ASM Skimmer

    Hi,

Where is the best place to get an ASM skimmer... Or is there another make/model that is good but not too expensive. My tank is a 75 gallons with a 30 gallons sump. And it need to be an in-sump model.

    Thank you,

You can try the corallifes supperskimmer, The price is right and they are the same technolgy as the asm skimmers.

I might be able to part with my G1X soon. I'll have a new ASM G6 next week.

The Coralife is a real bargain if you want a new one.

    Here you go Richard.

I am skimming wet. I would normally let the skimmate go a little dryer. The skimmate is from 5 days with 4 fish and a handful of corals in a 50 gallon holding tank.

    Bvoss,
I'd be interested in seeing pics of your skimmer... or even seeing it in person if that would be at all possible.

I'm contemplating trying one of these myself. Presently looking at the G4x.

Is the G6 for your 180gal tank? If so, wouldn't that be a little large?

I am tired of buying skimmers.

This one is over-rated at 1200 gallons. 600 is more like it. I should finally have enough to keep a 180 clean!

Hey Bvoss, since you tried many skimmers, could you give us your comments on each?
