    Frags and Chocolate chip star

I have just aquired some small frags for my tank and I keep finding my star on top of one of them. My question is whether he is attempting to eat the frag or what is going on. Any input would be appreciated. Frags are button type polyps.

    insl8r,

Chocolate Chip stars are not reef-safe. They are opportunistic omnivores of inverts.

If you want a reef, the star has to go.

Brittle and serpent stars are fine. However, the green brittle stars are known to catch fish as they get bigger.

I really appreciate your help. I had no idea about the cc. My brittle is black and grey but my serpent is close to 12" across. I have someone who will take the choc chip right now so he's about to become history.
