    ???what The Hell Hapend???

ok... I have this 10 gallon tank that I have been planning on completly shutting down this weekend...

Now I did a 30% water change about 7 days ago... Tested everything and everything is :thumb:

Now this tank had lots of green algea... I took MOST of it off 2 days ago before I moved the rocks somewhere else...

Anyway the yellow tail damsel in there is doing fine... But a the weird thing is that a SHIT LAOD of bristle worm are now dead... I can see more worms then sand???

Any idea what could of happend?

maybe moving the rocks stirred up alot of crud and probaly released nitrogen from underneath them. this probaly caused a spike of ammonia and damsels can live thru hell.

I'm with Johnny on this. In a small tank like that stirring things up a little could easily lead to a short but none the less high spike in ammonia and or nitrite. Both of which are deadly to all but the hardest of critters.
