    Little round beeds.

Hey guys I need help here. Lately me and my buddy have found a buildup of dark green beeds in our tanks. I have 1 in my tank and he had 3 in his. They start small but my buddy's are getting about the size of a m&m but fully round like a marble.
What are they and should I get rid of them?
If your gonna do it, do it right the first time.

Probly bubble algae. Does it look like this?

You can pick it off by hand but be carefull not to pop the bubble as it will release spores into your tank and you might end up with an infestation. I had some very small bubbles in my tank and my emerald crab at them.

thanks dude, It's simillar but darker. It's also as hard as a rock.
So the main question is... should i remove it?

I don't think emerald crabs will go for the bigger bubbles and it's not clear if bursting the bubbles will cause an outbreak in the tank. If it's a small rock I'd take it out and remove the bubbles. If it's a bigger rock I'd be very carefull not to burst any of them and take them out as well. Put in an emerald crab that way if there are other small ones it will eat them.

    Good luck,

    Steph
