    Question Calcium Question

If there is to much calcium in the tank can this be a problem?

It could screw up your pumps.

Not rust. The calcium will build up on the pumps impellers and everywere. Not sure if 520 is high enough to cause this or not.

I've been over 520, it's not that big of a deal. What salt are you using? When I was using Oceanic I was always over 500Ca, without dosing.

If you're dosing, stop until your Ca returns to a more normal level.

    What's your ALK like?

    Cheers!

Sounds like you just added to much Liquid Ca. Stop until the tank uses up some of the Ca & when you start dosing again, dose less

    Cheers!
