    Soda Bottles

can i use (washed out) 2-liter plastic Soda bottles to store mixes, such as Calcium Hydroxide, salt, etc.? or will there be toxins in the plastic that will leak into my solution?
the convenience is that i can cap them and shake it up when i want to mix it, and i can store it capped to keep it from reacting with CO2 over time.

I couldn't live without them....they're great for everything.
The only thing two reef keepers will agree on, is what the third reef keeper is doing wrong!
