Big als tank crash (not a bashing thread)

I just whent to big als for a look and found out what actually happened. One of their less knowledgable employees did not realize that the LR they recieve in their shippments was not cured and he decided that he was going to redecorate the displays and put a whole bunch of uncured rock in them. THUS::: a huse amonia spike that wiped almost everything out. Their coral tanks are all dead. They hade a huge head of chanel hammer and it is now just slime! Apparently they are not selling from that tank anymore untill the problem is solved. What a shame, there was a few corals in there that had good potential.

That's not good Was it just the coral display that was affected, or were the fish wiped out as well?

Well from what I see, everything was affected but the fish are still alive but look pretty banged up.

ok! I allready said this is not for bashing. Just information. They may not be informed but they are just trying to do a job for a days pay. Its not their fault they are not trained.

I am guessing they get paid very close to minimum wage, hard to hire experts at that rate.
