i've had mine running for over a year..
you do have to clean them periodically.. but mine are rock solid.
maybe i'm lucky.. or maybe Johnny got a bad batch ?
I like them more then the hagens.. alot more water movement for the same size.
and mine don't make noise yet.
my tank did'nt have the coraline groth that johnny's tank has, so that might explain why mine lasted.

SEIOS are great little water pumps they diffuse the water well,Now some info that might make a whole lot of people happy,SEIOS as we know can not be placed on a wavemaker ,I tried it works but rattles alot before its starts kind of annoying.

Now the makers of SIEO`s have been hard at work and has just finished the casing for there new controller units that will run several SEIOS throttling them down to 20% and slowly back up to 100% and down again you get what I mean.
They will have everything the popular tunzie controller has like feed ,night cycle ect but from what I understand they through in a little extra you will be able to be connected it to your computer and program lunar cycles ect.
It should be available in about one month.
