I believe i can see a skeleton under it in the first and second picture, and since you are having a sun polyp, its make me thing that its a reproduction of it... The tentacles looks similar without the yellow color... I am sure someone else will be able to tell you more on it

i don't know if i agree they are baby sunpolyps, i don't hink they reproduce that way.
they look like little pink tips anemone's?
How long you had the rock? could be hitchhikers.
give it more light or Less light and see how it behaves, the color might change it it could be sunpolyps

I have a few as well. Though I cant give you an ID I can tell you they are a coral and prefer lower light. I did the test and put some in full light, they get darker and dont open up as much...

Hopefully you can get a precise ID from someone here. Otherwise you could put the pics on RC, surely someone could tell you there.

If you find out let me know, Im interested. Thanks

Didn't like my previous ID of cup coral Chaz? :biggrinbo
NB I'm only teasing him and I am posting here to see if others agree with me

To me it looks a lot like this:
    http://www.melevsreef.com/id/kritter1.html

Go down into the LPS section. Now if someone digs even deeper and gets the scientific name for it.... :blah: loll

    from Melev's reef:
"I recently noticed these Cup Corals in my display tank, but they tend to only come in on newly shipped live rock. People that order from Tampa Bay Saltwater get LR with these little guys scattered sporadically in their order. They are filter feeders, and usually don't last too long in captivity. Note these pictured above are quite small, especially when you compare them to the hitchhiker feather dusters to the right. Reef-safe"

Can we fit one more tank? :P
