Question Can some one tell me what this is?

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if this is a baby snail or not? It is on the glass and it is less then 1cm in length. Sorry for the fuzzy picture.

Does it look like it has a hard shell? It looks like it may be a small limpet. Nothing to worry about.

It is hard to tell, however, if you do a google search on Stomatella Snail I think you will find the item in question. They are harmless and will readily reproduce in your aquarium. They are algae eaters, however, not as good as Astrea snails.

    Here is a link.

I'd like to retract my last identification. It's not a limpet, upon closer inspection, it's definately a chiton.

    Again, nothing to worry about.

Dosen't a chiton have just a small nail like shell that covers a small part of the body. I guess its hard to say from an underside picture. Most limpets have a tent like shell.
