    Hand held T.D.S meters

    ok here's the question......
    What do you use to caliberate these things? store bought water has a tds reading gererally but it's up too, so those are out... Distilled water I guess, but damned if I can find any....altho I could make some if absolutely necessary =) any other ideas?

    I use distilled water. I can buy a 4litre jug from Shoppers Drug Mart for a couple of bucks. I also use it for cleaning my refractometer and PH meter. As for TDS you get a reading of '0' for distilled water.
