ya.. read on the 3rd page.. they give more explanations as to how it works.. ( boosting the good bacteria in the tank )

I tried the RC link but it doesn't work, I'm going to see there as well. I can see how it would work as well but my ABSOLUT ain't going in either LOL

Actually I don't agree with something on that thread GREY GOOSE aint' the bestest Wodka out there :drunk2: lol

Seriously I'm going to look into this more, I don't have problems with either of these really. I did get an outbreak of cyano recently (something traded didn't make it and gave me a break out next day) and I've been fighting it off and on for the last couple of weeks and if it doesn't stop soon I'm thinking about trying it. If anyone tries it post your results pls.

After reading the 7 page reef central thread (especially Marc Euschen's test results on page 6), I think this method is too chancey for me.

Me too, I wasn't seriously considering it (I don't have this problem) but it was interesting.

i've read up i think on the same board of people using potassium permangonate... seems to be very effective.. but i'm scared of the effects on fish and corals.

I would wonder what part of the vodka is really responsible for the results. If it's 40 proof whats the other 60% in the bottle? I don't know much about booze other then that it gives me a nice buzz :-) .. Is there sugar in vodka?? If so could it be the sugar content at work somehow. It's very interesting for sure.
