    Hi cableguy
    if you do stop using IO don't use Kent same stuff IO makes it for them and I seen a post and the same thing happend cloudy
    water dust on everything.

    I useed IO for almost 4years now.....Never had any issue whatsoever...but if i remember correctly tang man montreal had a huge lost in no time cause of that batch

    I have use IO as long as I have been in the hobby and never had an issue with it.

    I too have always used IO and no problems. Tangman 's problem was never directly linked to the salt. It was just assumed... I think when people blame the salt, they're just looking for a scapegoat..., unless in a really extreme rare instance, it was proven the salt was bad. But I would only believe it if some lab tests were done on the salt and saw the results posted.
    IO is one of the 1st fabricated salts ever produced and I think they've stood the test of time. I personally think people just jump on the bandwagon to blame the IO salt.

    I've used IO Salt since the biggining. I have had no trouble with it. I used Reef Crystals when I set up my 50 gal and that seems to be a good Salt as well but IO is cheaper and more readily available here so I will use that again in my next setup! (I'm sure it won't be too far in the future! LOL!)
