Replacement syringe and tip for Salifert kits

Anyone know where I can get a replacement syringe and tip for the CA and Alk test kits (they are the same 1ml syringe with a special pastic tip). I have two good kits with no tip for the syringe.

    TIA!

you could go to a pharmacy and purchase a 1 ml insulin syringe, it of course would have a needle tip but would still work. John

I don't know if that would work, the salifert charts are calibrated to included the tip, an insulin needle wouldn't have that tip.

If you have a test kit still with a tip you might try testing twice, once with their needle & once with an insulin needle. If you get the same results you should be fine.

Otherwise, check the yellow pages for a lab supply company. They might be able to help you out.

    Cheers!

Going to get a 1ml syringe and see if I can calibrate it so that I wont be hooped if I loose/break the original. Thanks to all who replied
